Hi Everyone!
My name is Holly-Pup. I am a four year old Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel mix. My mom and
dad rescued me from an abusive home December 1, 2001 when I was only eight months old.
Mom took me for extensive obedience training for two years with a goal of having me pass the Canine
Good Citizen Test so we could visit patients in the hospital or nursing homes. I passed my test on August
4, 2004.
Mom and I are the pioneers of the Pals-4-Patients program at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson, Indiana.
We visit patients on the Bennet Rehab floor once a week. We were also invited to visit the Daybreak Daycare Center in
Anderson once a month.
I am a small dog with lots of love and energy who enjoys bouncing from room to room. I love to rub,
snuggle and kiss on the patients hands.
Our goal is to spread joy, love and peace to the patients and brighten their day while they are recovering.
Mom says, "We are there to bless the patients and make them feel better, but we are also blessed
everytime we visit."
May God bless everyone who reads this and visits our website.
